I used to be ashamed of my brain, the way I processed information, my sensory sensitives, the huge gap between my strengths & weaknesses and the constant frustration that my brain would just not do what it was told.

For 12 years, I worked as a Creative in advertising agencies where thankfully abstract thinking and spontaneity were rewarded and executive functioning was not top of the agenda!

Aged 35, and still pre ADHD diagnosis, I had my first child. This huge life shift resurfaced many of my biggest challenges; becoming a parent meant that there was no hiding from my working memory, time management and sensory challenges.

When my son was about 2, I started to notice his neurodiversity. I began a deep dive self education in neurodiversity to understand how I could help him thrive.

It was only then that the penny dropped and I realised that I too probably had ADHD. After my ADHD assessment I received my ADHD diagnosis at 37 years old!

Back in advertising post mat-leave, I had a growing sense of purpose for the first time. I realised that instead of helping brands solve problems, I really wanted to apply these skills to helping people, particularly brilliant & frustrated ADHD people who felt that they were missing out on years of untapped potential.

I decided to take the leap and retrain as a Transformative Life Coach.

In the last few years I’ve helped scores of wonderful ADHD clients, many who have received a diagnosis in their 30s and 40s.

I realised that the same principles that helped me solve brands problems in advertising are extremely powerful when applied to coaching… and so ADHD Brainstorm Coaching was born.

My qualifications include:

  • Diploma in Transformative Life Coaching at Animas Coaching school

  • Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation

  • Upfront Bond graduate

  • Hoffman process graduate

  • Completed Simply ADHD at ADDCA coaching school

A little more about me

When I’m not coaching or hanging out with my kids, you’ll find me spending time with my mini poodle Bruce. He’s a stand up guy. We read together, walk together and listen to Glennon Doyle podcasts together!
